Pine Tree Gospel Reading Plan – 2020 – January 1 – Easter (April 12)

Commitment # 3 –We, being a diverse group, will pursue unity as focus on Jesus.

As we read each day, we want to ask the Holy Spirit to help us answer four basic questions as we read:

1. What does Jesus want me to know?

2. What does Jesus want me to feel about what I’ve learned?

3. What does Jesus want me to do based on what I’ve learned from Him?

4. Who does Jesus want me to share from what I’ve learned from Him this week?

John 17:20-23 (NIV)

20 “My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, 21 that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. 22 I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one— 23 I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.

John 17:20-23 (NRSV)
20 “I ask not only on behalf of these, but also on behalf of those who will believe in me through their word, 21 that they may all be one. As you, Father, are in me and I am in you, may they also be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me. 22 The glory that you have given me I have given them, so that they may be one, as we are one, 23 I in them and you in me, that they may become completely one, so that the world may know that you have sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.
