Pine Tree Church of Christ is the sponsoring congregation for South Pacific Ministries in the United States.  SPM supports and guides South Pacific Bible college graduates that have chosen to go into ministry full-time in the South Pacific region.  These preachers and servants are under the direction of the Otumoetai Church of Christ and eldership located in Tauranga, New Zealand.  Pine Tree’s role is a supporting church to the direct oversight of the Otumoetai Church of Christ and the South Pacific Bible College.  Over half of the support for the SPBC comes from New Zealanders. Pray for the visionary leadership of Steve Raine, Mike Austin, and others in New Zealand as they lay out God’s plans for the spread of the gospel and Church planting throughout New Zealand and the island regions.  Pray for Pine Tree’s growing support of indigenous preachers of this region in God’s kingdom.  Pray that other churches and individuals in the area have open hearts to both of our Churches’ efforts to grow the Kingdom.
