Pine Tree's Youth & Family Ministry program (a.k.a "4.12 Ministries") is based upon the philosophy of encouraging, equipping, and establishing teens in Christ. We want to encourage them to live Godly lives, equip them with Biblical knowledge & a servant’s heart, and establish a foundation of faith in Jesus Christ. We also endeavor to help parents raise Christ-minded teenagers through a working faith, service, and Biblical knowledge. We offer various classes and resources throughout the year to assist in this effort.
The youth program consists of teens in grades 6th-12th with the group divided into Jr. High & High School classes. Jr. High classes are for grades 6th-8th and High School classes are 9th-12th grades.
“Seeking God, Serving Others, Growing Together” is our motto as a youth group and communicates what we are constantly striving to be about.
Youth classes are held in the Hub, located between the Education Center & Worship Center. Classes begin at 10:15am on Sundays and 6:30pm on Wednesdays.
Don’t worry, we don’t have an official dress code. However, nothing too revealing is always appreciated. Casual, everyday clothing (i.e. shorts, t-shirt, jeans, etc.) is appropriate.
We begin each class time altogether in a general hanging out time. Teens are free to sit and talk, play ping pong/foosball, etc. until we gather for a time of singing, announcements, & prayer. After a brief worship, we divide into our Jr. High & High School classes for the duration of class time.
There are many activities and opportunities in which the teenagers can participate including:
